What if?

What if there are no neutrons,

electrons, or protons,

as we define them?

Does it change the world?

No, it doesn’t.

 

What if the tons of books,

thousands of novels, stories, poems,

theories, equations, and rules,

do not exist?

Does it change the truth?

No, it doesn’t.

 

The truth is a piece of peace,

a diamond,

inside you,

don’t you know it?

Better you know it.

 

We theorize today

what we’ll reject tomorrow.

We’re addicted

to make simple things complex, and

the easy difficult.

 

We invent ideas, concepts,

define things,

make the rough smooth,

but we can’t change the truth.

 

We’ll stay as we are.

We dig deep

and the fact remains the fact,

the queen ant remains

the only queen

in the kingdom of ants.

 

Whether you know it or not,

the world is the world,

and the truth is just the truth.
