ما زالت مقبرة قضاء الحمدانية تستقبل بألم وحزن كبيرين المزيد من الضحايا الذين خسروا حياتهم جراء الحريق الذي اندلع بفعل فاعل في قاعة العرس التي شيدت على أرض زراعية حكومية وباستحصال موافقات عن طريق الضغوطات الميليشياوية ودفع الرشاوي للمسؤولين الفاسدين، ودون الالتزام بأبسط شروط البناء والسلامة العامة. وبالوقت الذي توقع أهالي المنطقة وأهل الضحايا الأبرياء خاصة والجماهير العراقية أن تخرج لجنة التحقيق التي شكلتها وزارة الداخلية بتقريرها الذي يشير بشفافية، ودون مواربة وغموض عن المسبب الحقيقي لهذه الجريمة الكبرى من سياسيين فاسدين ومسؤولين مرتشين وأيدي خفية أشعلت النيران لقتل اكبر عدد ممكن من المشاركين في هذا العرس، تخرج علينا هذه اللجنة بتقرير مهلهل وبائس يدل على استخفاف هذه اللجنة بعقول الناس وبحياة أبناء قضاء الحمدانية، وكما فعلوا في نتائج التحقيقات في نكبات كثيرة مرّ بها شعبنا ومنذ عام ٢٠٠٣ ولحد اليوم. كما ظهر نائب وزير الداخلية ومن على شاشة فضائية الشرقية وتحدث بإسلوب متعجرف لكي يرد على تشكيك المواطنين بنتائج التحقيق ومطالباتهم بلجنة تحقيق دولية مستقلة تقوم بالكشف عن المسببات الحقيقية لهذا الحريق الجريمة.

في هذه الظروف الصعبة والجدية ينبغي على جميع كنائس العراق أن توحد كلمتها وجهودها من أجل كشف حقيقة الجريمة التي ارتكبت بحق أهلنا في بغديدا، وهذا أقل ما يمكن لهذه الكنائس القيام به دفاعاً عن الحقيقة أولا وثانياً من أجل أبناء أبرشياتهم، حيث يستهدف المجرمون بالمقام الأول بث الخوف والرعب في نفوس أهالي سهل نينوى ودفعهم لترك بيوتهم وهجرة وطنهم الذي بني على أكتافهم وعاشوا وترعرعوا فيه، واحتلال منازلهم وأراضيهم. كما ينبغي على رؤساء الكنائس العراقية وضع المنظمات الدولية وخاصة هيئة الأمم المتحدة أمام مسؤولياتهم تجاه شعبنا عن طريق مطالبتهم بإرسال لجنة دولية مستقلة لكشف ملابسات النكبة التي حلت بأهالينا وكما فعلوا في التحقيق في تفجير ميناء لبنان.

 يجب التوقف هنا، فقد تجاوز الإرهابيون والقتلة والفاسدون من كل حدب وصوب الخط الأحمر تجاه شعبنا المسيحي، مرة بتشريدهم من منازلهم والاستحواذ عليها، ومرة بارتكاب جرائم القتل ضدهم، ومحاربتهم بأرزاقهم، أو بتهديدهم بالقتل، ومرة بالتطاول على رموزهم الدينية كما فعلوا مع سيادة البطريرك ساكو. لذلك يجب عدم السكوت على هذه الجريمة، كما ينبغي على جميع الوطنيين العراقيين التضامن مع أهالي الحمدانية والمسيحيين بشكل عام والصابئة المندائيين والأزيديين الذين يعانون من سوء تعامل الدولة ومؤسساتها تجاه المواطنين الأصلاء.

لن نسمح أن تصبح هذه الجريمة النكراء ملفاً منسياً كما حدث في ملفات عبّارة الموصل، وجريمة الكرادة، وجريمة احتلال داعش لثلث الأراضي العراقية، وجريمة سبايكر، وعن قتلة شهداء انتفاضة تشرين، وحرائق المستشفيات وغيرها ، حيث سنقرع جميع الأبواب والضمائر داخل وخارج العراق من أجل الوصول إلى الحقيقة التي يحاول الساسة الفاسدون طمسها لتبرئة المجرمين، ولن نسكت بعد الآن عن فضح السياسيين الفاسدين وكتلهم وميليشياتهم المنفلتة التي تعيث بالعراق فساداً والعبث بأمن المواطنين وتهدد وتقتل دون رادع ومستفيدة من الغطاء السياسي الذي يمنحه لها الساسة الفاسدون.

لا لن نتوقف عن فضح نوايا المجرمين القتلة وأسيادهم.

Let the words and efforts of all the churches in Iraq unite in order to internationalize the issue of the tragedy of the wedding of Baghdida

 The cemetery of the Hamdaniya district continues to receive with great pain and sadness the victims who lost their lives as a result of the fire that broke out by sabotage in the wedding hall, which was built on government agricultural land, and by obtaining approvals through militia pressure and paying bribes to corrupt officials, without adhering to the most basic building conditions and public safety.

At a time when the people of the region and the families of the innocent victims in particular and the Iraqi masses expected that the investigation committee formed by the Ministry of Interior would come out with its report, which indicates transparently, without equivocation and ambiguity, the real cause of this major crime, including corrupt politicians, bribed officials and hidden hands that set fire to kill the largest possible number of participants in this wedding, this committee comes out with a sleazy and miserable report that indicates this committee's disregard for the intelligence of the people and the lives of the people of the Hamdaniya district, as they did in the results of the investigations into the many calamities have been experienced by our people since 2003 until today. The Deputy Minister of Interior also appeared on Al-Sharqiya TV and spoke in an arrogant manner in order to respond to citizens' skepticism of the results of the investigation and their demands for an independent international investigation committee to reveal the real causes of this crime fire.

In these difficult and serious circumstances, all the churches of Iraq should unite their words and efforts in order to reveal the truth about the crime committed against our people in Baghdida, and this is the least that these churches can do in defense of the truth first, and second, for the sake of their parishioners, as the criminals aim primarily to spread fear and terror in the hearts of the people of the Nineveh Plain and push them to leave their homes and emigrate their homeland, which was built on their shoulders and lived and grew up in, and occupy their homes and lands. The heads of the Iraqi churches should also put international organizations, especially the United Nations, before their responsibilities towards our people by asking them to send an independent international commission to uncover the circumstances of the horrible disaster that befell our people, as they did in the investigation into the bombing of the port of Lebanon.

Terrorists, murderers and corrupt people from all sides have crossed the red line towards our Christian people, once by displacing them from their homes and seizing them, once by committing murders against them ,making hard for them to do business and their livelihoods, or threatening them with death, and once by violating their religious symbols, as they did with His Excellency Patriarch Sako.

Therefore, this crime should not be ignored, and all Iraqi patriots should stand in solidarity with the people of Hamdaniya, Christians in general, Sabean Mandaeans and Yazidis who suffer from the mistreatment by the State and its institutions towards indigenous citizens.

We will not allow this heinous crime to become a forgotten file, as happened in the files of the Mosul ferry, the crime of Karrada, the crime of ISIS occupying a third of Iraqi territory, the crime of Spyker, the killers of the martyrs of the October Uprising in 2019, hospital fires and others.

We will knock on all doors and consciences inside and outside Iraq in order to reach the truth that corrupt politicians are trying to obliterate to exonerate the criminals, and we will no longer be silent about exposing corrupt politicians, their corrupt political blocs and militias that wreak havoc in Iraq and tamper with the security of citizens and threaten and kill without a deterrent and cover by corrupt politicians.

No, we will not stop exposing the intentions of murderous criminals and their masters.
